Rose Hayoung Kim is an Art Director and Production Designer who refers to herself as a “scene maker”—someone who builds visual worlds where every element serves a narrative.

With a background in filmmaking, she approaches every project as both a storyteller and a visual architect. Drawing from a brand's identity or a film's emotional narrative, she transforms concepts into immersive visual experiences through her own visual language and aesthetic perspective.

Her practice often spans the entire creative process—from concept development and visual strategy to location scouting, casting, styling, hair and makeup direction, set design, producing, directing, and editing. Working as a multidisciplinary creative, she is able to oversee and shape every stage of production while maintaining a cohesive artistic vision.

Born in South Korea, Rose has developed creative projects across Paris, Southeast Asia and New York City, collaborating with brands, film productions, and independent creative projects. Her cross-cultural experience informs a cinematic approach that blends narrative, fashion, art, and design into visually distinctive work.
